Looping is nearly complete, effects are giving post less and less trouble, and our next project is to try to procure a time and space to screen the film at A-Kon in Dallas in June 2013.  By then, there will be a Kickstarter up for the second installment of the series, and a trailer for "Night Light", a fan film side project doubling as a "trial by fire" tutorial for magic spell after effects.

]]>Thu, 09 Jun 2011 02:43:09 GMThttp://www.towerofturtles.org/news--updates1/first-postThe cast is finalized, the script draft is as final as it's going to get, our locations are locked, the costume designer has a brilliant handle on a strong head start including donations from many of the cast members, the fight choreographer could make any of us look impressive and deadly and has exciting plans about how to do so.  Our Facebook page has... well, over fifty fans.  If we could just get the entire cast and crew to "like" it we'd have another fifty ;) 

Our current focus is on Dallas' Project A-Kon, where we plan to bring several of the cast members and several of the crew members to be living posters (or living banner ads) for the film.  We seem to have just about everything (except money) that we need to get the Prologue rolling.  Now we just need people to look.

After this coming weekend, we will have photos to add of some of our cast and crew in action.

This has become a labor of love with a now practically unstoppable momentum.  The cast and crew have more fun than should be permissable at every meeting and gathering, and to quote one of our cast members, "He who dies with the most memories wins." 

This has been, and will continue to be, a project we thoroughly enjoy working on.  It has been a long time and a lot of blind faith in the making, and we have high hopes for its outcome.
